PRODUCT DETAILS

Protecta FR Graphite is an advanced inflatable sealant designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases through service openings in fire-resistant walls and floors. It is particularly effective in applications where conventional firestop sealants are insufficient (e.g., sealing around large plastic pipes and other combustible passages).

When exposed to temperatures above 150°C, its graphite-based formula rapidly expands to seal gaps and maintain the integrity of the fire barrier. Depending on the solution specified in the installation instructions, FR Graphite can provide documented fire resistance for up to 4 hours.
